Meet the Photographer: Tiffini of Stenka Photography

The heart behind the camera

Hi friends, I’m Tiffini — the photographer, storyteller, and memory-preserver behind Stenka Photography. I’m also a wife, a mama to four beautiful kiddos, a Nebraska girl through and through, and someone who believes deeply in the magic of everyday moments.

Most people are surprised to learn that my journey into photography didn’t start with a fancy camera or a big dream. It began with tiny outfits, small shop modeling, and a lot of trial and error while trying to get my wiggly kids to stand still for one cute photo. Those early days taught me the art of patience, the beauty of authentic moments, and the joy of seeing my children’s personalities shine through a lens. Before I even realized it, photography was becoming a part of me.

In 2020, I finally took the leap and bought my first “real” camera — the kind that made everything click (literally and figuratively). Suddenly the world looked different. Light became more beautiful, emotions became more meaningful, and storytelling became something I wanted to do not just for my kids, but for other families too.

Now we’re settled in Nebraska City, where my family and I moved in 2023, and this little business has grown into something I’m truly proud of. With a bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and a minor in Health Care Management, it feels natural for me to connect with people, understand their relationships, and create images that feel warm, honest, and true-to-life.

My style is soft, natural, and a little bit farmhouse-inspired — full of warm tones, golden light, and genuine emotion. I love capturing the snuggles between a mama and her babies, the excitement of seniors ready for their next chapter, the joy of a family laughing together, the tenderness of maternity sessions, and the endless personality of pets and kiddos.

I also believe photography should be accessible, which is why I offer multiple packages to meet different needs, from short and sweet sessions to full storytelling experiences. Everyone deserves photos they love.

Behind the camera, I’m just a mom who knows how fast time goes. I know the feeling of wishing you could freeze a moment — a laugh, a hug, a tiny hand in yours — and hold onto it forever. That’s why I do what I do.

I’m so grateful you’re here.
I can’t wait to meet you, learn your story, and help you capture the moments that matter most.
